UN-accredited youth-focused organisation 1M1B (One Million for One Billion) has announced the launch of the Changemakers World Cup (CWC)—a groundbreaking, nationwide initiative aimed at discovering and celebrating 50 of India’s most inspiring changemakers. These selected individuals will represent India at the 1M1B Activate Impact Summit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York this December.
The Changemakers World Cup is a first-of-its-kind platform designed to uncover and elevate students, educators, social innovators, entrepreneurs, and grassroots leaders who are driving meaningful change in their communities in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The CWC uses a gamified, mission-based format, encouraging participants to complete challenges, earn points, and rise on the national leaderboard. Along the way, they gain access to mentorship, certificates, and the potential to join global change leaders in New York.
“The Changemakers World Cup is like the premier league of social impact,” said Manav Subodh, Founder of 1M1B. “We’re not just celebrating large-scale projects—we recognise small, meaningful actions that make a difference. Our mission is to ignite a national movement for changemaking and discover 50 exceptional individuals who can represent India on the world stage.”
