BioEnergy Global 2026 Opens with Grand Inauguration, Showcasing Innovation and Collaboration in Bioenergy

BioEnergy Global 2026, India’s premier summit and conference dedicated to bioenergy and renewable energy, inaugurated in New Delhi. The opening day marked the beginning of one of India’s largest gatherings focused on clean energy, sustainable development, and innovation in the bioenergy sector.

The discussions focussed on biofuels, biomass, biogas, compressed biogas(CBG), waste to energy, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), bio refineries, renewable energy, and circular economy options. The concurrent events include the 2nd BioEnergy Global Summit and the 5th National Conference on BioEnergy India.

Lt. Col. Monish Ahuja (Retd.), Chairman & Managing Director of PRESPL and Chairman of the Confederation of Biomass Energy Industry of India said, “India is moving into a new era of bioenergy where the collective effort of the government, industry, and farmers will play a pivotal role. The robust international presence at BioEnergy Global 2026 clearly indicates the prominence of India in the world as far as clean energy solutions are concerned. I urge everyone, especially the MSMEs, to capitalise on the enormous potential that this field offers.”

Balram Gupta, MD, Meera Trade Fair Media, said, “The strong support and participation received from the government departments, industry leaders, technological innovators, and international delegates to the event, makes a difference in shaping the future of bio-energy.”

The scale of participation showed over 200 exhibitors, 10,000+ visitors, 200 conference delegates and 50 plus speakers across more than 50 sessions.
