Club Mahindra, the flagship brand of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, has announced the transformation of its Acacia Palms resort in Goa into an all-women-run property – a first within the Club Mahindra portfolio.
Manoj Bhat, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, said, “Our Acacia Palms Resort in Goa is now an all-women-staff property and is a true reflection of our steadfast commitment to gender diversity, inclusion, and women empowerment.”
This step underscores Club Mahindra’s continued focus on gender diversity, inclusion, and empowerment of women in hospitality. Every operational and guest-facing role at the resort is now managed by a team of women professionals, many of whom are stepping into roles traditionally underrepresented by women. These include positions in engineering, security, kitchen stewarding, horticulture, and food production.
The initiative offers these professionals the opportunity to develop new skills and take on leadership responsibilities, contributing to a more equitable and inclusive workplace. It also sets a progressive example for the wider industry.
Club Mahindra is also working closely with local women entrepreneurs and artisans to bring their crafts and services into the resort experience, supporting community development and sustainability.
