Adani Group’s clean energy units delivered a milestone year in 2025, strengthening India’s green infrastructure and clean energy manufacturing base. Solar, wind and green hydrogen projects scaled up, reinforcing the group’s role in the global energy transition.

Solar manufacturing reaches new scale

Adani Solar crossed 15,000 megawatts of cumulative module shipments in 2025. This made it the first and fastest Indian solar manufacturer to reach this level. The milestone highlights growing domestic capacity in sustainable energy manufacturing.

The company expanded its presence to more than 550 districts through a nationwide retail network. It also secured TÜV Rheinland certification for long-term module reliability. Adani Solar received its eighth consecutive Kiwa PVEL Top Performer ranking.

Wind energy strengthens industrial capability

Adani Wind surpassed one gigawatt of installations for India’s largest onshore wind turbine. The business consolidated its position as a next-generation turbine manufacturer.

Manufacturing milestones included the rollout of the 300th nacelle and the completion of the 500th blade in record time. The company also indigenised India’s largest wind turbine main shaft with Larsen & Toubro.

Green hydrogen marks a national first

Adani New Industries Limited commissioned India’s first off-grid five megawatt green hydrogen pilot plant in Kutch. The facility is powered entirely by solar energy and supported by battery storage.

The plant uses a fully automated electrolyser with a closed-loop system. It responds dynamically to renewable power supply. This model offers a blueprint for decentralised and sustainable hydrogen production.

Global expansion and sustainability focus

Adani Wind entered global markets with exports of anti-icing blades to Europe. It completed design adaptations for the United States and prepared expansion into Australia, Brazil, Vietnam and the Philippines.

Across business units, the group emphasised skills development, safety and sustainability. Teams won national quality and safety awards. Adani Solar received the ESG Transparency Award for sustainability and governance practices.

Outlook for 2026

Sources said Adani’s clean energy businesses plan to deepen localisation in 2026. The strategy includes accelerating exports and advancing next-generation solar and wind technologies.

Early commercial pathways for green hydrogen are also planned. These steps aim to build on 2025’s momentum and support India’s transition to a low-carbon and resilient energy system.
