The Ministry of Jal Shakti will host the “Vision for Sujalam Bharat” Summit 2025 on 28–29 November at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Union Minister C.R. Patil will inaugurate the event, which aims to accelerate India’s mission for water security, climate resilience, and sustainable water management.

The summit will bring together Central and State officials, technical experts, NGOs, community institutions and National Water Award winners to discuss policy priorities for the water sector. The agenda builds on insights from six national thematic workshops held earlier this year, covering river rejuvenation, greywater reuse, digital water technologies, groundwater recharge, drinking water sustainability, and community-driven water management.

More than 2,800 stakeholders contributed recommendations that form the core of the discussions at the summit. Key focus areas include strengthening source sustainability, improving groundwater recharge, scaling modern and nature-based solutions, and enhancing community participation.

The Sujalam Bharat Summit 2025 aims to drive integrated planning and collective action across the country, supporting India’s long-term vision of a cleaner, safer, and water-secure Bharat.
