Tribeca Developers, through its newly launched CSR initiative Tribeca Cares, has extended meaningful support to 500 tribal students in the Vasai–Palghar region. As part of the programme’s first community outreach effort, Tribeca employees organised a voluntary donation drive for children living and studying at the Ashram Shala (Tribal Residential School) on Chinchoti–Kaman Road.
The school hosts students from remote tribal communities who stay in the residential facility to continue their education away from home. Recognising the challenges these children face — limited family access, economic barriers, and scarcity of basic resources — Tribeca employees came together to contribute clothes, toys, and essential items aimed at improving the students’ daily living experience.
A team from Tribeca visited the Ashram Shala to personally hand over the donations, interact with the children, and spend time engaging in conversations and activities. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, with students expressing heartfelt joy and appreciation for the thoughtful gesture.
Speaking about the initiative, Kalpesh Mehta, Founder of Tribeca Developers, said “Through Tribeca Cares, we aim to extend meaningful support to the communities around us. Seeing the children’s joy reaffirms our belief that collective kindness from our employees can make a genuine difference.”
Representatives from the Ashram Shala also welcomed the initiative. One of the staff members stated “Our students come from remote tribal areas and live here to complete their education. Contributions like these not only provide essential support but also motivate them emotionally.”
This outreach activity aligns with Tribeca Cares’ broader commitment to education, tribal welfare, and employee-led volunteering across Maharashtra. The programme seeks to build confidence among underserved youth, enhance learning environments, and foster greater inclusivity within communities. Tribeca Developers plans to expand its CSR engagements to additional schools and institutions in the coming months as part of its long-term focus on sustainable community development.
