DB RRTS Operations India, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn International Operations, has teamed up with Würth Industrial Services India to revolutionise depot maintenance for the Namo Bharat corridor, India’s first semi-high-speed Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS).

This Indo-German collaboration brings cutting-edge, eco-friendly solutions to the depot at Duhai, aiming to cut waste, streamline supply chains, and enhance workplace safety. At the heart of the partnership is Würth’s REFILLO mat aerosol refill system, marking DB RRTS as the first rail operator in India to adopt this innovative technology designed to reduce hazardous waste and packaging.

Beyond this, Würth will provide automated inventory management and modular storage systems to improve material handling and maintenance efficiency.

Niko Warbanoff, CEO of DB E.C.O. Group & DB International Operations, underlined the significance of the partnership, “It reflects our shared German legacy of engineering excellence and commitment to India’s Make-in-India and sustainability goals.”

The Namo Bharat corridor promises a new era in regional transit with faster, greener travel.
