DCGpac, a leading B2B packaging and procurement solutions company, has inaugurated its first Smart Manufacturing Plant in Noida, marking a significant milestone in its vision to build a sustainable, technology-led and globally integrated packaging ecosystem. Spread across 20,000 sq ft, the facility commenced production on 18 January 2026 with an initial manufacturing capacity of 250 tonnes per month, with plans for rapid scale-up.
Strategic backward integration into sustainable manufacturing
The Noida facility represents DCGpac’s strategic move towards backward integration, enabling greater control across raw material sourcing, manufacturing, quality assurance, fulfilment and global distribution. The plant has been established following a long-term investment commitment and a five-year strategic partnership with UKHI, a global material science company specialising in 100 per cent biodegradable and compostable raw materials.
Export-grade sustainable packaging for global markets
The Smart Manufacturing Plant will manufacture export-grade sustainable packaging solutions for e-commerce, quick commerce, logistics, retail and D2C brands. It will serve customers across India, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and the Middle East. The facility is equipped with advanced extrusion, printing, sealing and finishing machinery, supported by an in-house quality control laboratory to ensure regulatory compliance and consistent performance across international markets.
Complementing existing partner ecosystems
DCGpac clarified that the manufacturing initiative is strategic and complementary, and does not replace its existing vendor and manufacturing partner ecosystem. Instead, the facility strengthens DCGpac’s ability to innovate faster, maintain consistent quality standards and support global customers while continuing close collaboration with its nationwide and international partners.
Completing a vertically integrated packaging framework
With the inauguration of the Noida plant, DCGpac has completed its full vertical integration framework spanning sustainable raw materials, product manufacturing, its AI-powered ProPac platform, quality assurance, fulfilment and international shipping. This is further reinforced by RePac, DCGpac’s circular economy initiative focused on recycling and reuse of packaging materials.
Building future-ready supply chain infrastructure
Commenting on the launch, Suresh Bansal, Founder of DCGpac, said the facility represents a critical step in building a global, sustainability-first packaging ecosystem. He added that the partnership with UKHI and integration into manufacturing would enable the company to scale faster, maintain quality control and deliver truly sustainable packaging solutions worldwide.
Expansion plans and long-term investment outlook
Looking ahead, DCGpac plans to establish a network of Smart Manufacturing Facilities under its Smart Manufacturing Model over the next five years. The combined investment by DCGpac and its partners is expected to exceed ₹100 crore, aimed at creating a resilient, distributed and future-ready manufacturing ecosystem to meet rising domestic and international demand.
The launch reinforces DCGpac’s ambition to emerge as a global, AI-first and sustainability-driven packaging and supply chain solutions company.
